• Email Address: We access your email address via Google Sign-In solely to verify your identity and determine your subscription tier.
• Calendar Data: We access your Google Calendar to add, update, or remove contest reminders that you explicitly choose to sync.

We do not sell, trade, or share your email address or calendar data with third parties.

1.2. Local Data

The extension stores the following preferences only on your device:

• Selected platforms (e.g., Codeforces, LeetCode, CodeChef, etc.)
• Notification preferences
• Theme settings (dark/light mode)
• Sync settings (e.g., last sync time)

2. Permissions and Usage

The extension requests the following permissions to support its functionality:

• notifications: To send reminders shortly before contests begin.
• alarms: To schedule contest reminders and background sync tasks.
• storage: To save user preferences locally.
• identity: To authenticate you with Google for Calendar integration and Premium features.

3. Remote Data Retrieval

• Contest Data: The extension retrieves publicly available contest schedule data from competitive programming platforms.
• Google APIs: The extension communicates directly with Google's servers to sync your calendar and verify your account.

No remote executable code is ever loaded or run.

4. Cookies and Advertising

We use Google AdSense to serve advertisements when you visit our website. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell user data to third-party data brokers or track your private browsing habits outside of the site's functional requirements.

6. Data Protection

All data transmission between the extension and Google APIs occurs over secure HTTPS (TLS/SSL) protocols. Authentication tokens are managed securely via the Chrome Identity API.

Your email address and authentication status are retained only while you are signed in. Uninstalling the extension will permanently delete all locally stored data and preferences.
